About the Style: |

Karate Budokan Europe was formed as a result of the organic growth of Karate Budokan International (UK). Shihan Mike Tan brought and developed the Budokan style to Wales in the early 1970, and still has links with other Budokan Association in Australia and Asia. |

| The Budokan style was formed and founded by the late Grandmaster Chew Choo Soot in Malaya in 1960. The style consists of the traditional Kenshinkan style (off-shoot of the Shotokan karate style). Its unique combination of Kenshinkan karate, Chinese and Korean style makes the style very practical and effective. At present, there are still Budokan Organisation all over the world in particular in Australia, Malaysia, India, Pakistan and Europe. The formation of the KBE is to unite practitioners of Budokan style in Europe. A non-profit making organisation with membership of the following countries: Wales, England, Norway, Germany, Bulgaria and the Balkans countries. |
